ABOUT THE FOUNDER!

Born and raised in Central Michigan, Teresa “came to Texas as soon I could.”  Teresa started Mouton’s in 1987, with a vision to create a salon that always had a standard of excellence.  Having grown up in a family that was in the industry, she has taken her career and her passion to an entirely new level.  In addition to founding Mouton’s Salon, Teresa has trained, studied and worked photo shoots all over the world.  From weeks spent in Spain to long weekends in cities all throughout Europe and the United States, Canada and South America, she continues to perfect her craft and expand her skills.  In addition to having her photo work published over 5000 times, Teresa is also a member of the prestigious international beauty organization, Intercoiffure Mondiale.  She has also taught thousands of hairdressers around the United States, with her work as a platform artist for various haircare manufacturers.  Because of her success in starting and maintaining a successful business, she is often asked to participate in round tables, panel groups and other small business activities.

Teresa and Bruce welcome you to Mouton’s and want you to know that their goal is to make a difference in the lives of those who enter our doors. Whether you are walking in the front door as a client or the back door as a team member, Teresa and Bruce, and Mouton’s, have your best look and interest in mind.
