Helena Bonham Carter embraces her curl and texture! If you were born blessed (or cursed, depending upon your current perspective) with texture and curl, you know that it requires extra attention, care, and at times, cooing. One thing you may have learned by now, is the less you do, the better it does. If you choose to enhance your curl during styling, we recommend starting with a curl enhancing, frizz reducing shampoo and conditioner. We offer 2 lines at Mouton’s that cater to this. Kerastase and L’Oreal Professional. Both of these professional lines offer nourishing and specific ingredients to combat frizz and gently encourage your curl to do just that. Before you dry your hair, apply a creme that will define curls, and enhance volume. Look for a product that will leave your curls soft, but not crunchy. If you are looking for a product to use, we highly recommend Kerastase Oleo Curl. Apply a small amount to your hands, then gently work into your hair, starting at your roots, working your way to the ends. Then, air dry or use a diffuser, and after that keep your hands out of your hair! Touching your hair adds frizz, deconstructs the curl, and creates chaos in your style. Feel free to touch up a few pieces around your face with a flat iron or curling iron if needed. Make sure the size of the curl mimics the size of all the other curls.
